I left you hanging on the Sand Beach Coloring Tutorial yesterday for the Ocean Water Coloring Tutorial. This is day 2 of 30 days of coloring techniques for June!
My name is Sara, and I am fueled by popcorn and Dr. Pepper. I figured it would be every day to give a random fact about myself, but you can read more here.

The Yellow Glitter Gel Pen also makes an appearance.
Ocean Water Coloring Tutorial Video
Below is the video of how to achieve this effect, and the video is under 1 minute! Give it a watch or read the step-by-step below!
Ocean Water Coloring Tutorial Step-By-Step
Step 1: Use Y62 in horizontal lines, leaving white spaces. They don't need to be perfect horizontal lines.
Step 2: Use B03 to color in the rest, but do it in horizontal half-strokes.
Step 3: G324 to create some dark lines along the waves to help give the water depth and motion.
Step 4: Apply B03 back over those G324 to blend a little. Leave a few as is.
Step 5: Use the yellow Glitter Gel Pen to dot some of the Y62 spots that are strongly sticking out in color from the water.
Step 6: Use a white acrylic to go over just above the G324 and even add some stipple around the lines. You can also add mini crosses for sparkle.
That is it! Tomorrow, I will be adding some definition to the sand and water with V22 and finishing up the sea foam effect while making use of white space. After tomorrow, I will be diving into a creek tutorial.
